one to one coaching
I work with clients one-on-one, providing support for test preparation and assessment exercises. I clarify the test's purpose, preparation strategies, and the reasoning behind it, enabling clients to understand the marking guide. This approach does not give answers but enhances preparation. For example, when applying to the Police Service, understanding the Competency and Values Framework (CVF) is crucial. One-to-ones are used for organizational applications or promotion interview preparation.
project management
I am currently working with Project ADDER offering services around project managing changing the Road Traffic Legislation. The purpose is to bring Drug Driving Offences in line with Drink Drive laws. I have successfully negotiated the start of these course, working with National government Departments including the Home Office, Department for Transport and Department of Justice. Teesside has been designated an National Pilot Area and the first ever Drug Drive Behaviour Courses have taken place.
group training
Collaborating with Acton Chase Associate and Northern Safety Limited, I have trained groups from local authorities and a major housing provider in the North East. Courses include Induction for New Employees and Continuous Professional Development (CPD). Topics covered are Conflict Management, Risk Assessment, Evidence Gathering, Presenting Evidence, and Seizure Retention. Additionally, I provide training in Basic Self Defence and Breakaway Techniques for the housing provider.
motivational speaking
I have attended and I have bookings to attend, various groups ranging from unemployed people to college and university student groups. This is to discuss how to approach organising how to decide on future career paths or what may be needed to follow their chosen development paths.
middlesbrough football club
Whilst I am employed as a Safety Steward within the ground’s Control Room, I have been given extra responsibility to assist with the Recruiting, Retention and Training of Safety Stewards. Attending Career’s Fairs and interviewing potential recruits to the Football Club. I have also been tasked to organise an annual training day for all stewards in the close season.
